Miss Major Griffin-Gracy, a Black trans woman and veteran of the Stonewall uprising, is incarcerated at Dannemora Prison and meets some of those involved in the Attica Uprising. Her imprisonment and subsequent activism explicitly linked trans liberation to prison abolition, anti-racist struggle, and survivor-led organizing.
